What Our Delivery Terms Mean

This means stock is delivered to us which we then forward on to our customer OR stock is delivered directly from our supplier / manufacturer to our customer. This is dependent on size & weight of items. Delivery will be within days shown. Please note we regularly update our website but cannot always guarantee our suppliers have products in stock. Most of our parcels are dispatched via DPD. On the day of dispatch you will receive a text / email with the approximate time your parcel will be delivered (normally an hours delivery window is given). Please note however, it is your responsibility to ensure you are available when the courier attempts delivery as not all courier firms have the facility to call ahead. If the time given is unsuitable it is highly recommended that you rearrange delivery of your parcel by replying directly to DPD via the text / email or you can request your parcel is left in a safe place or with a neighbour. We also use other pallet / courier services where sometimes tracking information is not available.

Stihl FSA400 36v Cordless Bike Handle Clearing Saw BODY ONLY
The STIHL FSA400 is the first battery-powered clearing saw from STIHL. Designed for professionals working in landscaping and grounds maintenance, it has power output that is comparable to the FS411C-EM petrol clearing saw, and is best suited to clearing tough grass, shredding plant growth and felling small trees. The FSA400 is battery powered - meaning it has low noise emissions, making it ideal for use in noise sensitive areas too. Fitted with a bike handle for comfortable working when taking on clearing jobs. The folding clamp makes it quick and easy to adjust the bike handle to the ergonomic position that suits you. The FSA400 has a powerful EC motor and speed-adjustment on the control handle, which can be set at 3 different speed levels depending on the type of work you are doing. Automatic RPM adjustment helps with energy efficient work - the RPM increases to 6900 when it is used with a BrushCut or PolyCut mowing head and reduces to 5000 when used with the AutoCut head.
The STIHL anti-vibration system reduces vibrations on the STIHL FSA400, protecting your muscles and joints during use. The air filter on the housing ensures that the engine is kept cool during work, improving the service life of the clearing saw. It's easy to remove and clean too. The FSA400 comes with fitted with the AutoCut 46-2 line mowing head as standard but it can be fitted with a variety of other STIHL mowing heads, such as the TrimCut, DuroCut and PolyCut - plus, you can fit the FSA400 with the GrassCut grass-cutting blade, BrushCut brush knife, ShredCut shredder blade and the WoodCut circular saw blade for tackling tougher challenges. The FSA400 is IPX4 certified, meaning it can be used in all weather conditions. Durable components such as the sturdy battery casing design, stainless steel filter and large 28mm diameter aluminium shaft help cement this tool as the ideal choice for professionals. It also has a mounting point for the STIHL Smart Connector 2A on the power tool housing. *Additional blades are required for weed/tree cultivation.
Bike Handle
When used in conjunction with a harness, the bike handle enables a smooth mowing action. The bike handle allows the machine to be easily guided, making it ideal for working on large areas and thus reducing fatigue.
Anti-Vibration Handle
Vibrations can occur when you put your tools through their paces, and these are particularly noticeable in the grip area. The buffer and spring elements of the STIHL anti-vibration system reduce the transmission of engine vibrations to the handle area and therefore to your body. The result is that your tool is more comfortable to hold and your work is much less tiring.
Multi-Function Handle
Quickly and conveniently adjust the speed of your tool to the respective work situation. Doing so reduces energy consumption at low speeds, and in this way extends the battery runtime. The practical control handle with speed control allows you to make the relevant adjustment without having to change your grip or pause work.
Metal Mesh Air Filter
The air filter with fine metal mesh cleans the air and in this way ensures optimum engine cooling. As it is easy to clean, it also offers a long service life.
LED Indicator
At the push of a button, the LED charge-level indicator will show the batteries remaining capacity. This allows you to efficiently plan working hours and charge the battery in good time.
Connectivity
You can mount a Smart Connector 2A in the housing of the power tool at the dedicated position. Once installed, this connects to the control unit and transmits valuable power tool data to your smartphone, tablet or the STIHL connected Box that is within range. You can use the STIHL connected App and the STIHL connected Portal to view the STIHL connected gathered data and benefit from additional functions.

This machine has a special eyelet for use with a shoulder strap.
Power Boost
Thanks to intelligent electronics, STIHL power tools and batteries communicate with each other. If the device and battery are equipped with the POWER BOOST function, the battery always provides the maximum possible power for the respective application. In order to ensure optimum battery life, the device temporarily adjusts the power if it is used too intensively.
IPX4 Certified
The battery is IPX4 certified thanks to the encapsulated electronics and sealing of each individual cell. It means that it is protected against splashwater from all sides and can be used in rainy conditions.
